Ritz Carlton Boston Wedding Photographer {Ann & Dave}

There are moments when I realize how lucky I am to be able to do what I do- I always enjoy it, but at certain times I’m moved by the fact that I get to pour my heart so deeply into my work.  Ann and Dave are so sweet…and you can just *see* how much they care for each other. Their wedding was at the Ritz Carlton in Boston- I don’t normally talk a lot about the venues, but man, the people that run the Ritz are caring. The event itself was just beautiful, but what touched me was how they treated everyone, not only the bride and groom, but everyone that was working together as a team to make the day special. It makes such a difference when people work together and want to help each other succeed.

Let’s start with my favorite portrait of the day…

I’m such a country girl at heart…even in the middle of the city, I manage to find a little nature to get lost in…

Joy!

I wish I danced like this at least once a week…

Ann & Dave,

Much love to both of you and happy adventures :)

Carver Portrait Photographer {Cameron & Quinn}

Cameron and Quinn’s parents have been together since high school (I know because I went to school with them)…which means they’ve been together for almost half their lives. We are used to celebrating marriages and new relationships, but there is something so beautiful about a relationship that grows stronger over time…that in itself deserves celebration.

And look what that can create: a family full of love.

Cameron is a boy with one thousand expressions…each so unique and full of feeling.

If this image doesn’t fill your heart, then I don’t know what…

Baby Quinn just days old…

I am a proponent of jumping on beds…

I think this is my favorite from the day…I love creating images that are just a single moment but speak of the way things are…

When I start a family some day, I’m excited about the idea of siblings. I love watching how they interact, how they treat each other, how they discover the world together.

Katie & Seth,

Thank you for showing me what family means…you’ve got something pretty beautiful going on…
